What do your opinion about making websites by buying code?

most of my clients are purchasing products from codecanyon and they hire me to do the project. being a freelance i like to do the job, but most cases all the updates are became fresh start... so we need to build the same app with the new code; therefore i dnt feel its very easy to keep the keystore files. i like to know your openion !
