Question

Posted (edited)

I am not clear about this. I have one question can I add "top clients" like Fiverr, Google, etc? But those are not my client but I see many people add this.  If I can add yes/no, Please tell me the details. If I add this, This any effect on my account?

From Fiverr:

Note: You must include a company that hired you to work on a paid project (this doesn't include profiles or usage of platforms/sites/tools such as Fiverr, Facebook, YouTube, Shopify, etc.).

You can read more about it here:

The short answer is: no, you can't add Fiverr just because you've delivered orders on Fiverr, or Amazon, just because you've helped a client upload a product there. You can't add Facebook if you made a graphic for a client that they use on Facebook.

You can only add real clients that you've actually worked for, and you need to prove it! 🙂

A recent update requires it. More about it in the post above.

Of course not. And you reply to your question right in your post.

"From Fiverr:

If you think having done a video for YouTube means you've worked for YouTube, or selling a product on amazon means you worked for amazon, I really question your abilities as a freelancer. This platform doesn't need people that dense.

Just asking this question shows the one asking isn't qualified for anything imo. It's an insulting question. It's saying "I don't know what "client means".

Btw, @manikmt01, please let me know exactly what work you've done for Fiverr, Github, Google and Upwork. When did those companies hire you, and to do what?

He has not done anything for Fiverr, Google etc as he's already said that ⬇️⬇️

No. You cannot do that anymore. For that, Fiverr requires a proof that you really have done the orders with them. Order/Contract/Invoice Links are required for it. Whoever has added Fiverr, Google, LinkedIn or whatever, they are gonna get caught and their top clients will be removed if they don't provide a proof.

I know. It's obvious he didn't. I just wanted to hear his excuses why he said they were his clients.

Yes, it will affect your account. If you don't have the proof that you have worked for the companies you claimed you worked for, you will no longer be eligible for the top client feature.

Guys, I worked with a eBay seller (product listing work). Now Can I add eBay to my top client list?

If you read this thread, obviously not. You worked for that person, not for eBay.

Hello everyone,

And thank you in advance for your replies and for taking the time to read my message.

My question is: how do I add a YouTube channel to my clients?

I'm a YouTube scriptwriter. All my recent clients are YouTube channels, and several of them (including my best contracts) simply have no other web presence except their YouTube channels.

So, since Fiverr forbids any URL that contains “youtube.com/@[Channel name]”, it gets pretty complicated.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you for your answers.

Ps: once again, I don't want to include YouTube among my clients, but the YouTube channels I've worked for.
