Service fee question

Is there something wrong with the service fee. My gig is 5 sgd but when i create the offer it becomes 9.80 sgd. Why is this? Isnt the fee 20% or less???

I'm not sure you can put your gig at 5 SGD. The lowest is $5 in USD then converted to your currency. Taking into account the fees below it typically is around $7.30 USD which is roughly around $9.70 SGD which is probably where your concern is coming from.

Service fees are added at the time of purchase where a Buyer can review and accept the total amount requested to pay. These fees cover administrative fees.

The service fee is charged on every payment made. If during your order you place the main purchase, then add a GigExtra, and then you tip the seller, each payment will include a service fee charge.

Service fees are 5.5% of the purchase amount. For purchases under $50, an additional $2 small order fee will be applied.

Ok, but then why is the amount shown in the offer different from what i typed in???

I typed in 5 sgd, the proposal shows 9.80 sgd..

I really don't know because I just use USD. You can ask Customer Support for that.
