thejeffcallaway
Hi Fiverr Community! I’ll try and keep this short and sweet.Fiverr’s level page says I must have an excellent rating as well as 50 Sales WITHIN 2 Monthsto be promoted to Level 2. I have well over 50 COMPLETED sales but have only been amember for about 5-6 weeks. Do I have to wait for the 2 month mark to be updatedto Level 2?I searched the forums for a total of 45 Seconds before I got lazy and posted this question.Just have yet to see a 100% answer to this…–TheJeffCallawaySheriff’s Note: Moved to Fiverr FAQS. theslackjaw
I may be off on this answer, but I believe it is 50 sales on the same gig. I could be wrong though. I’m sure I will be corrected shortly if I am…;-D
sensitize
Yes, I believe you have to wait until you will be 2 months as a Fiverr’s member. And I don’t think you have to have 50 sales on the same gig - it is a sum of orders from all gigs that count.
rnuyen
I’m currently in the exact same situation and what I’ve gathered from old threads is that you have to be a member for 2 months before getting the Level 2 badge 🙂
theslackjaw
Took longer than an hour to be corrected…I’m surprised…
thejeffcallaway
I was starting to assume it was the 2 Month deal. Darn…Was all excited for my Shiny Number 2! But oh well…Patience… Thank you Fellow Fiverr…Ers? Lol
philipkaiser
Just got mine two days ago. 52 orders in two months and have been a member for just over two months.
celticmoon
@thejeffcallaway Do you have the legal right to sell the Marvel comic images you use for that gig? To me, it looks like a lot of your gigs use photos and images which are copyrighted and are not cheap to license. “Everyone else is doing it” probably won’t win in a lawsuit.Just wondering, and apologies if I’m wrong and you are the copyright holder~
theslackjaw
@celticmoon is right. It goes farther than that. You don’t hold the copyright to the characters themselves, so Marvel or Disney can come after you. And Disney is known for coming down hard on people who use any of their characters, ideas, or even just their name. (Just having Disney or Marvel in the name of your gig is enough for them to get involved. And that is the whole other can of worms that is trademark…which is just as sticky…if not more so.) And since Marvel is now owned by Disney they have the might of the Disney lawyers. Just a heads up. (I have experience with this, not here on Fiverr, but elsewhere. Take my word for it…it’s not fun to deal with.)
thejeffcallaway
@celticmoon & @theslackjawThank you for this advice. I will be suspending and editing these gigs tonight. Thank you.
drewthedj
I must be in Fiverr time out then, because I almost have 1000 gigs sold, and have a 100% rating, and have been active for 4 months… and still STUCK on level 1! so frustrating!
feverhost
Takes a bit of time, but it’s that way for a reason. You don’t want “fly by the night” services being Level 2. It diminishes the rank recognition.
ishara94
Sadly, yes 😦 It does not matter even if you have completed 50 orders until you stay 2 months here.
modelas
Yes, You need to wait 2 months, sometimes more 😛

sassygirl23
Wait for your 2 months and then you should automatically get level 2. If not send a quick note to support and ask them nicely about it. 🙂
thejeffcallaway
Thank you everybody for this. Fiver really needs to change their wording. “50 Orders Within 2 Months to something like 50 Orders AND 2 Months Active” Should do it.But yes. I now fully understand that I need to be here for 2 Months and I definitely see why that is a good thing! I’m about to pass 100 completed orders so I am pumped for some Leveling Up! thejeffcallaway
Nothing against Fiverr…I Love It Here So Far…But It’s very funny. It’s not like a Feature Request where some actual coding is involved… This could be corrected with a simple Text FIND AND REPLACE!
thejeffcallaway
I Like to imagine there’s this one guy at the top. A Scrooge McDuck type counting each and every Dollar Bill that’s given to him.
