When you edit a gig, it seems to fall out of the search for 24 to 48 hours. However, it does not affect the rest of your gigs.

Editing a gig Won't effect your other gigs. If your gig is not performing well, It's best to delete it and remake it after 30 days. Hope that helps, from a newbie.

You can see your gig image, description, keywords and research about gigs to find out your gigs problem.

I'd expect a "social media expert" who charges money for marketing, to know how to market their own service. 

I'd recommend taking some courses and educate yourself properly in the field of interest, and then come back with an actual business plan and the skills to back it up.

What i think you should do is calm down and wait for sometimes, fiverr doesn't work like magic and not a rich quick scheme. You need to keep editing your gig and always stay online.
