Is it true that if I edit my gig image, description or anything, it will hamper my existing gig ranking? What is your suggestion for a new seller?

Yes, if you change the gig title and keywords, the gig may lose rank.

You can edit your gig images, pricing packages, description, requirements, FAQs, or whatever you wish to edit. I recently changed one of my gigs' videos, pricing, and description. There were no issues. My gig didn't lose its rank.
