It's worthy to purchase Dribbble boost shots for promote gigs?

Hi. I am a graphics designer and game tester. I have been on Fiverr for over 2 years but only earned tens of dollars and a few impressions and clicks, it couldn't help me to keep alive. I want to promote my 3D icons gig gets more clicks. So I want to promote my 3D icons gig on Dribbble via Dribbble boost, my budget is 12$ now. But I am afraid it will not affect my gig as I predicted because this website didn't give enough views via free posts than Pinterest free pins. So should I buy Dribbble boost shots or Facebook ADs?
