Translations Beta is a FANTASTIC new feature – please also add a translation option for tagline and bio!

The topic title says it. THANK YOU for the beta feature for adding a manual Gig title and description translation, it's a fantastic option, and, indeed, should be a basic, at least for Gigs dealing in language services. I really hope that this feature will get out of the beta phase, and also understand that it may take a while to review the added manual translations, of course, it's a lot of work, just as manual translations are, compared to AI ones.

Alas, when following the prompt to add a manual translation to the Gig description, I got to see my Gig, including tagline and bio, in the auto-translated version, and... let's just say it's subpar, so, pretty please, add the option to translate our tagline and bio manually.

Also, please can you revisit your decision or coding that doesn't allow upper-case in Gig titles? I get that you don't want SELLErZ to WRITE thEir TItlES lIKE ThIS, but it's super embarrassing for translators and other people offering language service, when the system changes their English, etc., to english. It's surely possible to make exceptions for language and country names somehow? 🙂

I echo this sentiment!

I'd also like free rein of my use of capitalizations in the gig titles (not just language and country names)! I really don't like how I have to tell people that I'll proofread their "english," optimize their "linkedin" accounts, or upload courses to "thinkific."

If Fiverr gives sellers full rein on capitalizations, it'll help buyers to make decisions, especially for those looking for Writing & Translation services. Seeing a title like the one below would tell me to avoid that seller! It would also sends an easy flag to Fiverr when they are removing low-quality gigs from the platform.

This sounds wonderful! Where does this show up on your profile/gigs?

It's a new menu entry, "Translations Beta", on the actual Gig editing page per Gig. You can enter a title and description, even upload separate Gig images, apparently, but I haven't edited my images yet for this, just done the "translations" and saved them, after getting the notification today. A pop-up says it might take a while to review, so I guess they'll check the translations manually, thus, probably, it's just a feature for perhaps the languages that have a "local Fiverr", so far. I'll add edited image sets, when I'll find the time to edit my images.

I'm writing "translations", as I had to shorten/re-write a lot, to make the translation fit the character limit... I hope that won't be an issue, and they told the reviewers about the character limit, so they won't be like "Yeah, nice, but this isn't a translation! Does this person even know what they wrote in their English description?!" 😅 It isn't as easy as just dropping the last two paragraphs of the description, after all.
