Client asking to contact in telegram

Hello,

Is it normal for clients to ask sellers to contact in telegram or gmail for details on projects? I had a few clients knock me asking to contact them in telegram regarding work. I am not sure if I should. Someone please advise what to do in such situations.

A business relationship forged in Fiverr has to stay in Fiverr.

Exchanging personal contact information is against the Terms of Service. It may bag you a warning. Don't do it.

These messages that you are getting may also be spam.

Fiverr wants to stay on fiverr . if you try to go outside marketplace your account might be got penalty. most of the client try to scam so be careful about that

No, this is not normal behavior on Fiverr.

If you are contacted by a buyer outside of the Fiverr platform, they are in violation of fiverr Terms of Service. Fiverr will recommend that you report any such messages to Fiverr Trust & Safety team so that an appropriate action can be taken by support team.
