Is the new "Buyer Requests" really worth it?

I am a little disappointed with the new feature in the Buyer request section. An Algorithm was introduced to improve the way buyers and sellers find the perfect match. And most of the time, it is not related to the niche services that most of us offer on here. For example: someone might specify in social media, yet he gets a match for a virtual assistant for a business that doesn't have social media in common. 

I really loved the old school way of choosing buyer requests and actually finding a buyer that needs those specific requirements that you offer. I feel the current algorithm is that of Tinder, just for freelancers and buyers. 

What are your thoughts on this?

Previous feature was helpful for new seller, but this time it is narrow.

Brief are much better from previous section "Buyer Request".

"Brief match" is not good for new seller.

New brief is better than previous buyer request system.

I never had a response to any of the proposals I sent for the old buyer requests. I've only had three briefs sent to me, and one repeat client has come of it. So, I'm inclined to think that I like briefs better.

I am neither new or level 1 seller and as the buyer requests feature is gone i am not receiving briefs can someone please tell me do my gig starting price matters for getting briefs it's been 6 months with all this please help me.

Of course, by doing so, sellers won't miss out on real buyer contact.
