Suggestion to stop the SPAM

So, I just posted my first gig about an hour ago and I have already received over 10 spam messages. I image I'm not the only one that shares the same frustration, so I came up with an easy, effective way to massively reduce spam messages and my suggestion is for fiverr to require a mandatory ID check upon registration on the site, whether you are a freelancer or a buyer. 

What do you guys think of it?

I think they already do it.. or some form, Also what happen if it outside america soil?
