Update before an Order

A few clients (with or without reviews) asked for an update even before placing an order.

Like they asked 'to complete first 8 or 5 then I will place an order.'

How to handle these clients? Should I provide them with an update before placing an order? If not, then what to do?

You can try politely telling them that Fiverr strongly recommends all sellers never to start working before the order is placed. Or you can simply not work with them, as @vibronxsuggested. Considering that your basic package is just $5, there's zero reason to do anything for free.

One of them even has reviews and gigs (with reviews). So I assume that he had falsely got those reviews.
