Does social media marketing really have any effect on Fiverr's gig rank?

Think about this for a moment...

Do you want to increase your 'rank' on Fiverr (which doesn't truly exist, by the way) or do you want to get more orders? What is the actual goal?

Marketing properly on social media could definitely bring in more orders. However, this does not mean simply posting your Fiverr gig link all over the place. That's spam.

Learning how to attract more targeted customers and promote your services effectively is a lot more useful than trying to boost some "rank."
