Update:

Just got another scam offer
They are sending PDFs with the link to download files,
or Google drive link.

Don't! Simply don't! Always ask them to send text within the message
and images/videos to send one by one attached in the message,
never accept zip files.

RED FLAGS:
NEW FIVERR ACCOUNT FROM NOV 2022 OR CLOSE

Usually they will say they want a big order, and they want to work long term,
they will pay even more, anything to make you bite.

They are saying that they work for the well established company
showing you website and FB page with a lot of followers.

Didn't your antivirus work?

Hi Olyasr, I didn't have my antivirus on, which is a terrible mistake by me.

Now I do have Avast and Malwarebytes, and also I am using Google authenticator app
to protect all my Gmail and Facebook accounts by 2 factor identification.

Hopefully this will help other sellers to protect themselves!

Update:
Protect yourself by installing trustworthy protection software
The best antivirus for 2022 is Bitdefender, you can get a free version on their website,
as well as many other free tools to protect your web browsing and home network.

If you prefer other antivirus that's alright
You can try running one and then another for extra security.
They exclude each other, though, so you can have only one installed.

I am not sure what they are capable of, so not sure if anything can 100% protect us,
but if you use Google Authenticator app, they won't be able to
reset your password because there will be a prompt asking for the code from the App

You can use it for any email address or social media account

Using a good antivirus is the simple solution to your problem

How can i protect my fiverr account form scrammer of hacker??

Hi, you can protect it by using Google Authenticator App for you Email Address or Facebook profile,
that you used to sign up on Fiverr.

How it works:
• You download Google Authenticator App
• Then you go to your Email or Facebook settings and turn on Two factor identification
and choose Authenticator app as an option.
• You will see a QR code
• Open your Google Authenticator App
• Tap on plus button to open a camera scanner
• Simply scan the QR code and that's it

Now when somebody tries to login into your account, he will be asked to enter the code
but now only you have the code in your app.

I hope it helps

You can search on Youtube to see how it works, if this was not clear enough :)

Just got another one of these scam offers.

Same method used

Contacted by a new Fiverr account, without reviews.
Saying that he is from Marketing department of a well established company
Showing a website and FB page with a lot of followers.

Sending a google drive link for a zipped file with a password
Inside is a trojan virus.

Be careful guys.

Reported to Fiverr support.
He is still active and not banned. (which is a surprise)
