Old gigs deranked

Hi everybody,

Hope everyone is doing great.

I just searched my gig's main keyword and got to see that all the old gigs which were ranking on the top pages are not there anymore.

The gigs which are not rated and have $5 starting price are on the top pages.

This seems newbies have got chance.

But what do you think, old gigs would not get sales anymore?

It doesn't matter how old or new a gig is, ALL gigs are subject -- equally -- to the same marketplace algorithm.

If an old gig has not "ranked" before, it could mean that something is wrong and the gig may not succeed anyway. If a gig was performing well before and not now, it means "gig rotation" which happens to everyone. An old but well-reviewed gig will always do better than a new one.
