Working in Milestone mode

How I work with Milestone mode? For example, the buyer not yet completed the first milestone. But he/she is asking another tasks without starting the 2nd Milestone, wants me to be still working for him and be always online 8 hrs as Virtual Assistant . I'm a bit worried because the payment or earning not yet being made. What to do about this matter? Thanks in advance for advice.

I'm not sure I got your text right, but from my understanding , can't you just tell them you need to complete the first milestone before moving on? Or have them place a new order for this task to make sure you get paid. What do you think?

The second Milestone only start when the buyer accepts the first one.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the person is trying to scam you into doing extra work they're not paying for. Don't give in.

The second milestone will not start until buyer accepts the first milestone. We should work in single payment in my experience.
