Hello fellow Fiverrlings!

Let's have a little poll:

How many new buyers message you each day?

For me, the average is 1-3. 

On my busiest days, around 6-8.

I am getting a good percentage of my messages when I am asleep too!

It's because most buyers are US based, and I am by the Mediterranean Sea ⛵⛵⛵

I generally receive 3-6 messages daily 😀 on good days I kindly direct some of them to read Fiverr's article about being a seller, other times I just respond with "hey" and never engage further or mark as spam if they're being annoying.

These days I receive 3-6 messages as well and sometimes, 3+ orders.

I suppose I hadn't got used to it when I started the poll.

Why do you redirect them to that article? What are these clients asking?

Because most of them are actually new sellers who don't even know if they have to create gig first in order to sell and end up begging for work from me 😀

I see that you are in graphic design, the most saturated market!

Unbelievable. The worst that I've had was a new seller asking me about taxes.

He was based in the same country as me.

Yeah, it's getting ridiculous. I think they basically just go around hitting up any seller on the first page and beg for work, then they probably would come to the forum complaining about not getting orders despite "working so hard" 😕 I've seen those posts a lot here.

Some days I get 10+ scam, spam, and "Hi" with nothing else messages.

It has been 42 days on Fiverr.😐

You are the very beginning. You have to get those first reviews in.

I see that you are also in graphic design, which is perhaps the most saturated market.

Maybe bring some local buyers to your gig. Social media is another option.

In the past we used to start with buyer requests, now they are going away.

What do you mean by this, can you explain it more? I've been a level 2 seller but unfortunately lost the level because of a late delivery, and yes I used and still using buyer request a lot, but seems to be different from what it was years ago...

They are replacing buyer requests with buyer briefs. The transition is not yet complete. If you try to open buyer requests on the phone app, it will let you know. Look for buyer briefs in the forum search!

Hi, buyer request does not come to you with notification. You have to refresh buyer request manue time to time to get the buyer request.

This poll is not about buyer requests but, organic messages from new buyers!

I am new. It ranges now 0-1.
