if you edit your gig then there is a higher chances to fall your gig ranking. never edit your these gigs is already ranked and getting knock and order.

minor edit dont affect your gig ranking. so try to edit your gig minor form

Editing your gig has nothing to do with your positioning in the marketplace. This has been answered in multiple posts and webinars.

How would you improve your gig if you can't edit it?

How do you add new skills, gallery images or descriptions if you can't edit it?

How do you add FAQs, activate new features like when subscriptions were launched if you don't edit your gig?

Of course, if you edit your gig wrong, you can do more harm than good, but that's a different topic.
