What to do if the work order expires before the work is completed

If your client is responsive, ask to extend the delivery date of the order.

If your client is not responsive, you risk getting a late order (which Fiverr CS can't undo). You can cancel the order in this case and work with Fiverr CS to ensure it doesn't affect your seller stats.
