Wow, this sounds familiar. I can already sense something bad. The client had his website translated from English to Japanese, and just like any websites the file had words like "About us" "Contact" and "FAQ," you know, the usual stuff. There was also the word "Home" included in the file. Normal, right? And that was translated as "House." That was just the start. Seriously, this so called team of experts can go to h*ll.
