This is to give everyone an equal opportunity to do well on fiverr. When you're on the front you will have more impressions. Nearer to the back of the search results will mean less impressions. Learning to search through the forum is the best way to learn how to improve your gig, stats, orders, etc on Fiverr. Fiverr states: Quote Impressions: These are the number of times your Gig appeared in Fiverr's thumbnails (i.e., on the homepage, category/subcategory page, search, and user page). Clicks: These are the number of clicks after a user saw it once on the homepage, category/subcategory page, search, and user page. Therefore, impressions do not and cannot come from external marketing.
