I mean... I've always been a writer. Not a professional, by any means, but I've been writing since I was a teenager and I've had quite a group of fans at one point. For me (like for many other sellers) my skills/interests came first. I decided to try Fiverr because I was testing the waters, though it took a while for things to truly work out, I guess.
