Welcome to Fiverr Pro - what now?

mohin_g

Question

I had an email from the Fiverr team that I have been approved for Pro. But looking at my profile the change in unclear, i.e. there is no indicator to suggest I now have a Pro profile.
It says '..following categories..' but there are o categories listed?? (For context, my specialism is 'cybersecurity')

Thanks for your input. I'll take a closer look tomorrow to see if I have to 'transfer' my existing Gigs. Appears quite an unnecessary admin activity on the face of it..

Hi @mohin_g,

Here's what the Help Center says on Fiverr Pro:

Can I convert my existing Fiverr Gig to a Fiverr Pro Gig?

Converting your existing Gig to a Pro Gig will be subject to Fiverr Pro team's review and approval.  Considering the quality of your existing Gig, your communications with Buyers in connection with such Gig and any warnings or terms of service violations in connection with such Gig.

To convert your existing Gig to a Pro Gig, you must submit the Pro Gig Conversion form.

Note: It is not possible to have a Fiverr Pro Gig in the same subcategory as a non-Fiverr Pro Gig.

It looks like you have to do this for each of your gigs that you want to convert to Pro. That seems ike a hassle.

How will buyers know I'm a Fiverr Pro seller?
Once you have been accepted as a Fiverr Pro seller, you must attend an onboarding session with the Fiverr Pro team. A signup link for the onboarding session can be found in your acceptance email.

Once you have completed the onboarding session, your Fiverr Pro seller profile will be active. The category that you have been approved for, will appear on your Pro seller profile. To apply for additional Pro categories, you must submit the Pro Category Expansion form.

Every Fiverr Pro Gig is labeled with a Fiverr Pro badge so that buyers know they're getting the very best. Buyers will also have the option to filter the Gigs catalog so that Fiverr Pro Gigs are shown first.

Can you find any signup link on your acceptance email? If not, you might want to reach out to Customer Support here:

Hi @mohin_g - Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Pro status!

We have added the new services to your profile and would love to see your new Pro gigs soon!

It looks like you need to still set up your Pro gigs. Once you set them up, you should see a "Pro" mark on those gigs.

You should get the option of setting up a meeting with a pro manager at Fiverr in that e-mail. From there, they will go through the onboarding process with you and convert your profile to pro. If you have Seller Plus, your success manager will deal with the onboarding for you, so you can contact them. I hope this helps and welcome to Pro!

Hi @mohin_g  Welcome to the forum. I have had a quick look at your gigs and they look great.  Cyber security is an area we can all learn greatly from and you seem to be 'the man' when it comes to this subject.  I have a feeling that the quality of your gigs will be snapped up by a lot of customers.

I'm looking forward to seeing how your gigs perform in the coming months.

Good luck!

Ian

Thanks for your response. I don't have anything in the email that refers to account amanagers or additonal steps for onboarding. The only other thing in the email is the standard footer.

How strange. I suggest reaching out to your Success Manager or contact Fiverr support, and they should be able to help you in the right direction. Your profile can't be converted until you've had the onboarding. After that, you'll get all the info you need. I just went through it myself. The e-mail had a button in it to set up an appointment for the onboarding, but since my success manager was able to do it, I did it with her directly instead.
