what is i offer subscription for 5 orders does that mean client hire seller for 5 orders

I have quick question what if seller offer subscriptions for 5 orders does it means client pay for 5 orders at once or it means he get discount on each of 5 order(certain percentage) which he pay separately for each order

And if 

it means he get discount on each of 5 order(certain percentage) which he pay separately for each order  what if client is not order on gig page   but by custom offer of what i say 40$ as discussion  and subscription say discount 20% and i create custom offer for 40 do he still get discount mean he pay 32$ or 40$

Simply  Question is subscription effect custom offer or not?
