Notification of message but not in inbox

I am being notified of a new message from someone who hasn’t bought from me before, I go to fiverr, and there are no unread messages in the inbox. The half solution I found is the go to the email fiverr sends when you get a new message and tap “view and reply”. This still doesn’t help the fact that the conversation is not in my inbox and is tanking my response rate and time. Considering just making a new account

This usually happens when you receive spam messages that are quickly picked up by the system. You can check your spam folder.

you need to check the spam section and sometimes it happened due to low internet connectivity
