And that is exactly the wrong type of advise that is poisoning the forum.    Staying online 24/7 does not increase your gig ranking.  Sending buyer requests only works if you have a spot on profile and your gigs stand out.  

Read the tips that the senior forum guys post and ignore the stuff that tells you to work every minute of every day.  It doesn't work and will end up exhausting you.
