Hi All,

My gig was in the first page and all of a sudden it went to the last page. I have attached an attachment to show the performance drop due to this. Any idea about this behavior

Any tips to recover from this

Thank You

In the marketplace, a Gig's position is based on the seller’s performance over a set period. Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily.

There are many factors to take into consideration, some of which may include:

  • Order cancellations
  • Delivery rate
  • Responsiveness
  • The particular Gig’s maximum number of active orders in the queue, as based on your seller level.
  • Other Gigs performing at a higher rate.

If other sellers are ranked higher, they may be consistently getting 5-star feedback, delivering on time, communicating quicker, and so on. It all counts. For this reason, ensure that you provide high-quality and original work, avoid late deliveries and cancellations, are responsive, and always remain professional.

The above is from the Help Centre.

Thank You for your response,

Kindly let me know  do you have any tips how I can improve the status of the gig ?

Because all of the following

  • Order cancellations
  • Delivery rate
  • Responsiveness
  • The particular Gig’s maximum number of active orders in the queue, as based on your seller level.
  • Other Gigs performing at a higher rate.

Are in a good level also. I have only 2 cancellations and my rating is 4.9. I haven't a single delivery that is delayed and I'm on level one.

Thank You

Cancellations will lower your 60-day seller performance. A lower seller performance will generally cause a seller to gain fewer impressions.

Hi

Thank you @jonbaas

So do I have to wait for 60 days since a cancellation to improve my gig? Because on the last 60 days I only had one cancellation. I also modified my gig with some improvements too. But I did that very recently (you can see them as the darkened dots in my attachment).

Any idea on how I can overcome this situation ?

May be your some or one Big order get cancelled that's why you faced this problem..
Share your GIG more and more and hoping so whenever you will get some orders, it helps to rank your GIG again, its from my personal experience.

I have similar situation, where I was moved from TOP 5 results (where I was for a long period of time, continuously) to the last page. It is almost 1 month from the moment that happened.

Regarding the support team, you will get only a generic answer(s). I was asking concrete questions, and kept getting generic answers, only agents were changing, answers were almost the same. Without answer on my questions.

My gig had approximately 3.5k views weekly, and it went down to about 200. And of course, no one is messaging me. From 115 reviews, 113 are 5-star, 1 is 4-star, and 1 is 1-star (happened in May, not sure why, but I got it).

I understand that there is a possibility that I got some bad secret review (not sure how, since clients were pretty generous with reviews). But it is insane to keep someone with great stats (for years), out of any order for at least a month (I expect it to take at least few months). I understand the penalization if I got some negative secret review, but moving the gig from top results to the last page in search results. And to keep it like that for a long time. It means that tons of other clients experiences (great experiences), doesn`t mean nothing if you get one bad review. And I have, officially, only ONE bad review. And not getting any clue why is this happening, and how long it will take.

This is just keeping me out of this platform, and moving me to other sources of orders (which I neglected because of Fiverr in the last few years).

I did, and got the same answer again and again, with not answering directly to my questions, but sending me some kind of generated answer. I left it how it is now, since I don`t expect any help or suggestions from the Fiverr support side. There is only a hope that it will not last too long.

I`m maybe new to forum, but far from new on Fiverr as a seller 🙂
