I  just posted a gig and the video did not upload when i published it. They said the video is under review, will the video be automatically published when the video is approved?

I think if there is no issue with video then instantly visible after uploading.

Your video will be review by the team then it will publish if no issue found. Generally the process takes less than half an hour.
