Well even if it's not interest, some sort of fee is added there, I don't think Fiverr would offer this service without any benefit on their side, and clearly you have to pay something extra.

Anyway the service is not for me, I don't like the idea of dealing with any sort of debt.

Are you sure?

There is no pressure to pay the cash advance, especially since no interest is charged. You pay with your future earnings, that is, for every sale you make as a Fiverr seller, 40% of its post-tax value is used to pay Fiverr until the cash advance is paid in full. If you don’t make any sales, you don’t pay anything on the cash advance.

 Example:

You completed an order for $10. See the Cash Advance breakdown below:

Item

$US

Order amount

10.00

Standard Fiverr commission

-2.00

Net income

8.00

Cash Advance payment
(40% of the pre-tax value on $8.00)

-3.20

Amount available for withdrawal

4.80

The above is from the article I posted which explains how this works.

Well, that is one way to market it 😁

"If you don’t make any sales, you don’t pay anything on the cash advance. "

I can see someone, definitely not me, just taking the money and running. Quitting the platform altogether and saying they *technically* didn't get any more sales so they don't have to pay anything back.

Fiverr should really pick their words carefully here.

Unfortunately. That's why the economy is collapsing 🤧 😅 🤣

I am a level 2 seller and I haven't yet got the option of Cash advance and how and when will I get this ?

The following is from the Fiverr help pages:

"Eligibility criteria are automatically defined and are subject to change. Your eligibility can change, as it is based on your sales and performance history."

In other words, we can't say when or even if you will get this option. It's based on your sales and performance history and Fiverr automatically selects the sellers that will have access to this feature.

Even me, I've got the option of Cash Advance several weeks ago but I didn't take it. But then, it's missing now. I have no idea when it will appear again.

Why did the button dissapear? I mean, if Fiverr really wants to help the sellers, I think they should let the 'cash advance' button appear there instead of making it a temporary button.

Help me please

Hello!
As far as I know, it's handpicked. When fiverr will get to know from their algorithm that you are getting regular orders, very low amount of order cancellations rate and few more internal factors must be positive, fiverr will provide this feature. Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I'm TRS seller. But I didn't get "Cash Advance" option yet 😔. Some personal reason I was expectancy for it and still waiting. Could you tell me, when it can be enabled for me? As a TRS how long later do you got this option?

A cash advance is offered to you by Fiverr.  You can not request it.  You will normally be offered this service after sustained high service and high turnover.

However, please be very careful when using this, you will sacrifice 40% of your earnings until you pay the balance back. This could create a challenging spiral where you become indebted to Fiverr in the long term.

Probably because you are an established seller, with plenty of reviews, and you do not need a loan to get started.

@fernando1015 You don't activate it.  Fiverr reward this based on the performance of your gigs.   Please be very careful if you do get this opportunity though. It can put you into a difficult spiral of debt, as you sacrifice nearly half of your earnings until you pay it back.
