With thumbs, if you do your best and are willing to help and revise a gig, customers will rate you thumbs up, even if they do not really get what they wanted and they consider your work so-so. On the other hand, if you are on star rating, if they are unsatisfied - and some clients are hard to please -, they will give you 3 or 4 stars, which will result in a worse average percent.
