How to deal with Unrealistic low prices?

studiolo1

Question

I see lot of sellers publishing gigs and pushing down whole niches with Unrealistic low prices... that are more then funny in my professional (for ex: sound design or music production) world. I am finding requests with BUDGETs that I would never work In real life... Is that normal? and how to deal with that?

thanks :)

You don't have to deal with anything. Share examples of your work, show that you are a professional and people will see your value. Of course there will always be cheap options for anything, just like there are luxury options. There are people selling $5 logos, then there's also the dude that created Apple's logo and he charged $10k per logo as far as I remember. So there's definitely a spot for everyone.

You can easily get past those $5 sellers if you show your experience and professionlism. Let the buyers decide. And as a side note, you don't want buyers that settle only for cheap stuff. They are hard to work with, they have unreasonable expectations..
