Can someone tell me if increasing the dollar amount of gig in fiverr will have any effect on gig promotion?

Or you mean if you increase your prices you might get more or less traffic?

If it's the latter, generally when you start increasing prices, you will have less traffic. This is normal... you won't attract a large crowd anymore due to a low price. Instead, you will have higher quality, more qualified buyers. Whether you can actually impress them with your gig and reviews, that's up to you.
