Starting on Fiverr as a Pro

danielgnehm

Question

Hi there!

We're trademarked as a professional recording studio in Switzerland and have done work for various artists and companies in Switzerland.

Our team has experience in various fields of the music business which we can back up through various references. We've been in the industry for over 10 years.

Now we would like to expand our services on Fiverr and need some advice from the veterans in the forum. We would like to directly apply as Fiverr "Pros" as we have mastered our craft. Our websites, production, mixing and mastering work is on par with the industry standard and if a deep dive is done into our work during the verification process we are positive that we would get a "Pro" rating, , but we haven't done any work yet on Fiverr.

How high do you think our chances are being labeled as professionals without having references on Fiverr itself?

Any advice is appreciated.

Best

Dani

High 😉

For fiverr pro it doesn’t really matter if you did projects on fiverr or not. You can scroll through the application and you’ll see that all you need to do is to submit proof of your work with external clients and project. What matters for Pro is quality and experience

Hi Dani,

You absolutely have a high chance, given what you've told us here. Becoming a Fiverr Pro does not require you to be a seller on Fiverr before you apply. Some of the idea behind Pro was to attract new, high-end sellers that wouldn't fit into the "classic" marketplace.

Best of luck!

Is it true? If yes that will be really great.

Is what true? That you don't have to be a seller on Fiverr before applying to pro? Yes.

The part with a "high chance" was directed at the OP only, based on the information they provided about their business.

Only 1% of pro applicants gets accepted, according to Fiverr.
