App to share phones and charge batteries

Hi guys, ever heard of an app for your phone that you can charge battery with? Just curious

No, because that doesn't exist.

How would that work...?

Unless the app is just connected to a charger, but that seems like extra steps for no reason lol. An app can't generate more electricity for the phone to use, electricity can only be generated through hardware installations, not software ones.

Based on the topic title...

You mean, an app that would let you charge one phone from second phone?? That's... an interesting idea, but completely impractical, since portable secondary power supplies are easily available and less expensive than a second phone. And spare charging cables are cheaper still. And if you mean borrowing power from a random stranger's phone... just NO. Way too big a security risk.

Thanks! Yes, same as how you would borrow your phone charger to someone you would just let someone connect to the app same as wifi to charge it. I think so as well, will stick to the traditional phone chargers haha
