manueledelma151 Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Suppose I buy a graphic from Fiverr. Can I resell the graphic in my own online store with the "commercial use" license? Or should I rather sign a separate contract with the seller? Thanks a lot
theratypist Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360011569298-For-Commercial-Use-license-details By purchasing a "Commercial Use License" on Fiverr, the seller grants you a perpetual, exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the purchased delivery for Permitted Commercial Purposes. Unless clearly stated otherwise on the seller's Gig page/description, all intellectual property rights of the purchased delivery are hereby assigned to you.

Thanks for your answer! 🙂 So I can then sell the graphic in my online store without fear of the seller suing me?

If I understand correctly as stated in the official write-up from Fiverr, it is yours unless otherwise stated by the seller's gig page or description. As long as you paid for it, its yours. I am no lawyer though! 😄

Solange du dafür bezahlt hast, gehört es dir. Ich bin aber kein Jurist!😄 Okay🙂

Haha, I had to Google Translate that... https://www.fiverr.com/terms_of_service For removal of doubt, in custom created work (such as art work, design work, report generation etc.), the delivered work and its copyright shall be the exclusive property of the Buyer and, upon delivery, the Seller agrees that it thereby, pursuant to these Terms of Service, assigns all right, title and interest in and to the delivered work to the Buyer. Some Gigs (including for custom created work) charge additional payments (through Gig Extras) for a Commercial Use License.
