Yes you can edit your gig. Editing your gig doesn't harm your profile/visibility/rank. It should hopefully improve it.

To edit:

Go to your gig and click 'edit gig' on the top right.

Or

Click 'Gigs' in the header, and click the button to the far right of your gig and you should see the edit button.
