Hello Everyone,

When I try to verify my phone number on my desktop browser, both the country field and the phone number field are grey.

it is possible to manually type in a country but not to type a phone number.

Impossible to create a Gig.

(I tried several desktop browsers, and I have no ad/spam blocker installed)

You're lucky I had this this problem for a very long time and I searched for answers everywhere but didn't find it.

The solution I found it myself just today and it's very easy.

All you have to do is to use numbers in the top of your keyboard instead of numbers in the right side of your keyboard

Hello Ahprodesign,

Thank you very much, it just worked perfect.

I also received mail from Customer support and I paste the answer (for other people in the same situation):

  • Make sure your country code and area code are correct.
  • Make sure your phone number is accurate.
  • Use a PC/Mac to enter the code, and not a mobile browser.
  • Make sure to use the numbers on top of your keyboard instead of a number pad.

I am trying to make a seller account so I have to verify my number. My country number format is +959 .In most of the cases, the number format is already filled as soon as you select your country and it appears at the front in grey text. But for Myanmar, nothing shows up and I can't type in + symbol into the box. So I tried another way which is replacing +959 with 09, but it told me to omit the zero at the front. What do I do then??

I’m on my first gig, I’m trying to “verify” my gig at the last page, and it doesn’t allow me to put my phone number in the phone number spot. It just let’s me put my prefix, and nothing more.
There’s 2 buttons at the bottom for SMS and Call for verification, and neither of them light up.
Some would say: Contact Customer Support. Well, I tried “Submit a Request” and I kept getting a message saying “Action Failed. Try again later” It’s been over 2 hours trying to get this thing to work. There’s no legitimate ‘email’ nor an actual phone# to contact anyone.
