For the Basic selling tips like how to setup your gigs i do recommand that above short free course from fiverr.

some of the tips and tricks I like to share.
1. rename your gig image as per your gig title
2. prefer multi-language enable in your profile

3. Turn off the watermark option in your gigs { i don't know why but I feel an increase in my gig impression whenever I turn off watermark } and keep limited orders in the queue & Direct Link activated.

4. Don't forget to give a skill test whom you are making/creating your gig

5. Never Use Emoji while having a conversation with a client be formal
6. link your social account to Fiverr { don't know why but I find a difference when I link my social id }

7. make catchy banners { i prefer Picsart and photostudio}

8. Repeated buyer is one of the ranking factor in my view

9. Follow buyer requirements in details to meets there expectations

10. Keep your buyers updated , with the on going work

11. Get early feedback on your work, so you get idea about the flow of the work

12. Tell buyers what else you have to offer for best results

Only add languages that you actually speak, though.

For example, I've seen sellers who are not from Europe, but list English, German, French and Spanish as the languages they speak either at a native level or as being fluent in them...and yet, they don't list their own language. Plus their gig descriptions show that their English is nowhere near either native or fluent. All of that screams fake/dishonest/clueless.
