Hi everyone,

Hope you all are doing well.!

So I have started selling on fiverr about 1.5 years back and since then I have completed almost 11 orders.

I am not getting the work as i expected inspite of providing very quality work. I guess sometimes i am being too honest with buyer so they tend to pay me less.

I would like everyone's suggestion on how i can get more work and get paid according to quality of work.

Any suggestion, feedback would be really appreciated.

Thank you,

🙂

Find your own buyers. Don't rely on Fiverr. Look up "economics basics, supply and demand".

That's going to require self-reflection, honesty in self-evaluation, and integrity about what quality you can offer and what that quality is actually worth.

I checked out your profile and gigs and they are all over the place.  I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to sell.  And if I don't, neither will anyone else.

  1. You say you are an electrical engineer with a history of working in media.
    1. I have no idea what value this brings to anyone.  That's like me saying I have a degree in physics with a history of making homemade wine.
  2. Your number one gig title is "I will do anything for you from Mumbai India".
    1. I'm sorry to be harsh but this may be the worst gig title I have ever seen.  Are you going to wash my car for me?  Do a voice over?  Build a rocket for Mars?
    2. Fiverr is all about being specialized.  You are shooting yourself in the foot with that kind of generalization.
  3. You know Sanskrit
    1. Again, what is the point? Unless you have a gig about translating Sanskrit, this does nothing but make you feel self-important.

It is going to be basically impossible for you to get any traction without a highly niche specific specialty, for which you are very highly qualified.  Unfortunately, I think you need to step back, figure out what you want to do, what you are good at, and re-write from the beginning.

Here's a few suggestions for the gigs:

Gig: I will be your virtual assistant
In the gig description:
"Thanks for stopping buy." could be "Thanks for stopping by."
"reach out with any inquires!" could be "reach out with any inquiries!"

Gig: I will want to learn indian languages for almost free
The title doesn't seem right. The title is supposed to be about what you (the seller) will do, but you say "I will want to learn indian languages..."
Shouldn't it say eg. you'll teach them Indian languages not that you'll want to learn them?

In the gig description:
"i will" could be "I will"

Gig: I will do copy paste, manual writing, data entry for you
In the gig description:
"Do need a Virtual assistant to" could be "Do you need a Virtual assistant to"

In the titles it might be better if there's a space after commas.

Develop your skill. Try to publish gig with exactly what work you can do. Tell about your service with gigs.

Hi Evans,

Thank you for your valuable feedback. The gigs were created in a hurry and i really did not paid much attention to them but now I know where I am lacking and what needs to be corrected. This is very helpful.

I will definitely develop the skills and I hope I will eventually learn and reach to the higher levels. Thank you for your time.
