Scammer on fiverr

Hi guys, 

 

Anyone else experience scam on fiverr. This is my second time and unfortunately fiverr is not communicating with my support query and totally ignoring my request. I am fuming as it is 3k euro worth of funds. I will get half back as the ticket is still in revision but the guy done me for an upfront payment on the first ticket which is directly related to the project. 

 

Lesson for people don't pay upfront for anything on fiverr. We are into month 7 of the project which was meany to take 80 days to complete this guy has giving excuse after excuse and fiverr are ignoring me. I am going on social media to want other start ups of the dangers of fiverr scammers and the lack of support I am receiving.

 

Any advice people can give me is much appreciated

Well it’s tough because you didn’t really share many details. 
 

What do you mean you paid upfront? Al fiverr orders are paid upfront. Or did he ask you to mark your order completed? How long has its been that you are waiting for fiverr response?

Did you pay for everything through Fiverr? When you say "the first ticket is still in revision" do you mean the first order? Did you split the job into multiple orders or multiple milestones? If it's a 3K job it might be better in future to split the job into more milestones/orders just in case there's a problem. CS still may be able to refund if you didn't get what you ordered (though if you completed any orders/milestones and it's been >14 days since completion they may not be able to refund that).

What kind of job was this, Colin? For example, design, IT, writing?

It sounds very messy and unpleasant for you. It also causes a great deal of stress.

Please know, however, it also works the other way. We sellers are often left short-changed without doing a thing wrong either. At the moment, I have a buyer who has put the work 'in revision' while she has no revisions for me to make. These horrible scenarios are on both sides. I feel for you though.
