Hello,

I hope you all are doing well.

I want to take your opinion about working from home depression.

I am a graphic designer, Mostly I do my work from home but recently, I get depressed, and my social life is very weak.

What do you do to get a refreshment? keep motivation?

Hi Abdelrahman, same here. But the reason why I work from home is that I got a tomato face, allergic acne reaction. (For way too long now, but I guess it's like pressure of my fiance/kids, hormonal imbalance things). While being normally a model/spokeperson/host this is really a problem. This morning I was thinking as well to just meet up with my friends again. However, they already decided I'm not the social person that I used to be anymore. I would really recommend you to - the same as with work - even if you don't feel like it, still do it. Just try to plan in a coffee EVERY DAY with your friend(s), and if there are none, go by yourself once a day and speak to someone you meet there. Even if it's only a Hi to open the conversation. If there is no budget for even go for a coffee *(even this can happen), just go for a walk. 🙂 I literally have a daily schedule poster that I made (just hang it up in for example your toilet/bathroom/fridge, some place where you stand still for a while) to remind me of the important things to do. I even plan in morning prayers, meeting up with friends, checkup with gp/dentist/coach, cleaning time, work time.. I keep a checklist that I fill in at the end of the day. How much my earnings, how much did i do from the daily schedule, and so on. Oh and by the way, I don't know if you're single or married, but if you're single, plan in on dating as well! It' SO IMPORTANT. Your loved one/other half to share your life with makes you hopefully less depressed. Hope this helps! Goodluck and my blessings for you!

It's very common for people who work from home. What helps me is to work NOT from home sometimes - go fins any networking, any coworking space, or coffee point with comfortable tables, some cafe. Also try to find freelancers community in your country to communicate with the same people

Hey!! I hope you are doing well, being a freelancer and working from home, I can understand how are you feeling, it does happen with me too, but dont worry you may cope up with it soon.

try to fix your working hours, dont get your self stucked in work 24/7,  Give yourself break like a day or two off days on weekend. try to take time out for vacation with friends or family.

save some money and try to invest in some other business too 🙂

Keep Doing the good work!
