Q1 is done. What can you improve in Q2?

I must be doing something right because I've earned nearly half as much as I did last year as a whole, so money wise I'm definitely doing much better.

In general, I'm working on time-management and understand exactly how much time I spend working (let that be communication, preparing to write OR actual writing) and learning how to optimize that time a bit better.

That being said  with tall the travelling I've been doing, I took most weekends off this week which has had a pretty good affect on my mental health / work in general I think, so I'm hoping to sort of continue doing that (when possible, of course) even though I will not be travelling so much anymore.

What I want to improve are the overall looks of my gigs (gig images mostly) and my profile.

In the first quarter I uploaded a video to my gig and raised my prices. I was a bit hesitant about raising prices at first, as there is always risk of losing returning clients, but many of them have continued ordering and leaving good feedback, indicating it was the right choice. I do get less orders, but I feel like my time is compensated more fairly.

In the second quarter I'm planning to make some small changes to my profile and my gigs, as unfortunately, I cannot give my full attention to Fiverr at this time.

As for the yearly plan of 2022, I have some big improvements in mind, which I will focus on after graduating from the Academy. Until then, it's mostly maintenance and small changes.

I added a new (if not very exciting) gig, and had the worst month since I started on Fiverr. I trust it will pick up again now. The tumbleweeds appear to blow in along with every global crisis.  I've also tried to fix up my business profile every time I get a notification to let me know my name isn't trustworthy. 🙂  Apart from Fiverr bits and bobs, I refreshed myself with a week in Barcelona. Oh, Barcelona. What a city.

Seriously, what is up with that? I can't use my full name as my display name because it's not 'trustworthy'? It's right there in my user name.... it's right there in my bio... it's in every picture and video I've uploaded.

I'm having trouble understanding what the point of a separate 'business' page even is.

...and yeah - Barcelona is beautiful, especially this time of year. That Olympic Village is breathtaking.

As with a lot of the BETA stuff, it's annoying and clunky at times. Even some my "notable clients" have been pending for ages. The trustworthy name seems to be a problem for everyone at the moment.

Truly. And this time of year is perfect. The weather is fine and you can relax before 10 billion tourists descend into the centre. I have good friends living there so always a great reason to return, as if menu del dia wasn't reason enough. 🙂

I've updated FAQ to hopefully stave off questions... I mean better inform potential clients of things they ask me semi-frequently, made a few description tweaks, and added two new gigs with specific tasks. I have a few more plans in the works, too.
