Mid-March Check-in

The world... has been crazy lately (and I am sincerely hoping that things will get better.) Despite all that, I've decided to continue these 'positive' posts (for now), just hoping to bring a little...sunshine into our lives! 
So... Now that the month is almost over, is there anything you're looking forward to in April? 

I will do 3 big things and 3 small things (as honestly, there's a lot!)

I'm moving to Stockholm officially after commuting for months - it's a pretty big move and I'm overwhelmed, but it's happening! Big city life is starting finally!
Next up is... Partially tied to me moving, of course: I will be cooking more! Having my own kitchen has been something I'd wanted for a long time, so... sounds fun!

Last big thing would be... IF I end up going home finally, going home. (but it's been sort of hanging in the air for a bit due to logistics.) Still very keen on getting some Hungarian food (and seeing some people!)

For little things...

- Looking forward to having my kettle up here so I can make tea without needing the stove.

- Looking forward to the sun finally being out more and more!

- And of course... Ramen Saturday! (we missed it this week but it'll be making a comeback.)

So... what are you looking forward to?
(bonus picture is the ricecake-stir-fry thing I cooked today. I was quite proud of it for once!) It's not really teokbokki because I used a different sauce but it turned out very tasty.)

Let's see, what will be going on in April.....

.....You know what, there really isn't much going on next month!
Japan has officially entered the cherry blossom season so we're seeing flowers and petals everywhere which is great, but sadly they will all be gone
by April.
I will be heading out soon to a friend's house in an hour or so though, we're having a BBQ party 😄
It's just me and 2 of my buddies, but about 3 years ago we started this "Walking Dead binge watch home party" while eating hot pot, and at one
point we started doing BBQ, and it's been a thing ever since.

We also sometimes go eat ramen too.

That's a bit sad - I think it's a bit later here which is good for me (since I'll be moved here by then!) I'm planning to have a picknick in the park (well, one of the many parks, but.. there's one with lots of cherry trees apparently!) I haven't ever seen the trees perfectly in full bloom so hopefully I'll catch them this year. 

Hotpot reminds me of my hunt for a way to get my KBBQ grill / hotpot combo out here without breaking the bank! I'm planning my birthday at a Chinese hotpot restaurant (too many people for a small grill), but I'd love to just have the option of grilling at my new place!
