Is it true and is this good news for new sellers?

I recently posted some new gigs on Fiverr, and I saw the day after that I had on average 20000 impressions from fiverr on each new gig, and 3 sales. Now I checked the Fiverr android app shortly after posting my new gig and it comes first in the category Writing & Translation / Creative Writing & Scripting (on my tablet ofcourse), even when I am offline. And it appears that also in other categories new gigs are first followed by older gigs.



So could it be that the app ranks new gigs first when searching in each category or is it coincidence?

Otherwise this would be great to new sellers on Fiverr to kick start their business.



Does someone knows more about this or is it just me?
