Using Fiverr to fund my album

Hi, I’m Pesty Desparado, wonderful to meet you all. I’m a rap artist and songwriter. I used a Wu Tang name generator to create this identity for personal reasons. I recently went independent having been previous been signed to a record label and am looking for ways to fund my album as me and my team now work with a smaller budget. Has anyone else done anything similar? I created this persona to ghost write for others. I can’t reveal my identity at the moment but would love to chat and see if any artists on here could give me feedback as I’m new to community. Thanks!

Welcome to the Fiverr forums.

Check out the Tips For Sellers category (https://community.fiverr.com/forums/?forumId=16). You'll find hundreds of threads offering advice on a variety of things to consider and/or improve. (Note: Not all advice can apply to all gigs or categories. Be sure you check multiple sources **as there are some false tips**(https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/215551-top-5-fiverr-myths-debunked/)

That's... not really relevant to anything. It's the internet, near everyone uses pseudonyms.

Okay, the 'recent record label' IS relevant (and kind nifty). Why is that not in your Fiverr profile description? It's a better hook than "I rap really good".

GIG descriptions are for what you will do. PROFILE descriptions are for you to say something about yourself.

That, I have witnessed! There are a few Sellers I've spotted on Fiverr who are big-names in the traditional business world. (Like the guy who made the Macintosh apple logo.)

I'm going to be blunt for just a moment: Fiverr doesn't care who you are. A majority of other users on the forums won't care either, since Fiverr is a global community and a LARGE number of sellers are not native-English speakers. First, feedback concerning your gigs: horizontal orientation, both video and images. People will likely first see your images in thumbnail form, and first impressions are important.
