Recommended gigs depend on which Criteria?

No one knows. Fiverr keeps it's algorithms secret.

How many offers did you get to your Buyer Request? (Just the 50, or have more come in?) @gina_riley2 has mentioned a process for sorting out the worst of those, in about 10-15 minutes (might take longer depending on the number of offers you got).

I can say that the two offers visible in your screenshot should be rejected. (Both look like they were copy-pasted, punctuation/grammar issues in both, and the second one called you 'dear'.) (Also, both are bragging about themselves.)

I do think your brief could use some additional information, such as: 'we have not decided on a color palette yet' or 'the colors are included in the full PDF brief'. Another thing missing from your brief is font. Are you looking for 'handwritten', or a serif, or sans-serif, or something custom?

Unless you're using the lack of information as a litmus test of sorts. In which case you can easily dismiss all offers that don't ask a single question.

It doesn't seem to say in the help (one page for it anyway only mentions sorting by date, price, delivery time, ratings, or reviews).

So maybe they don't say anywhere (though maybe CS would know).

Maybe the recommended sort sorts the gigs and/or offers so that the closest match for the text in your request are shown at the top of the list. eg. looking at vector space to see which are closest. If it's checking the gigs it could check the title+description (eg. using Text2Gig).

It might also be something to do with Seller Plus as putting Seller Plus member's offers higher is one of the mentioned advantages of membership of that.

It could also take your budget and delivery time into account (so those that match both of those could be higher in the list than those that don't).
