jeanne_lolness
Hi friends, I've been on Fiverr for 2 years now but from time to time, I still get a panic attack and worries about Fiverr: the impressions going down, fear of sudden banning, no more clients coming this week, etc. Last night, I just spent 2 hours searching how can an account get a sudden permanent ban from Fiverr. This morning, I woke up feeling so silly. Even if I'm not working, I can spend these hours relaxing, enjoying time with my family, etc. I wonder how you guys cope with it? Especially during the panic moments? I have been using a to-do list, a journal and they do help a lot in reducing the panic coming.
johanessurya
I think you need to create your brand/personal brand and promote it without Fiverr. It would be challenging for someone who never do marketing by her/him self. But, trust me it would be long lasting and never worried about banning suddenly. I think its important, as a freelancer, to never keep all of your freelancing eggs in the proverbial "basket." Meaning, keeping your client base diversified and having other income streams outside of Fiverr. Knowing your world won't come completely crashing down if you have a slow week on Fiverr might help you manage the anxiety a little better. There's always a reason for it. So as long as you follow Fiverr's Terms of Service your account will be okay! I also think you're doing a great job at managing it with a to-do list and a journal. Writing my worries away also helps me! Although the feeling of stress & worries (for whatever reason) often still remains, it helps rationalize things a bit and instead of internalizing it. I could tell you not to focus too much on the impressions and clicks since they definitely don't mean everything, but I know a panic attack won't care about those arguments. But perhaps instead of focusing on what could go wrong and wondering where the clients are, try to redirect your mind to what is going right! I see you have a great amount of reviews, made a delivery 9 hours ago and you're a level two seller. You're doing great!! As you said yourself, during the hours you're not working you could be enjoying your free time in various ways. Then why not just do that? It works as a perfect distraction and will also boost your happy hormones 😄

As long as you abide by the Community Standards and the Terms of Service you won't get banned. Check this out:
