What does this message mean?

I’ve seen that, and wondered, too. Most of the times, I’ve seen that message from sellers who’ve been on Fiverr for a long time, 3 or 4 years, and often are/were TRS, but not always. Maybe they’ve taken a LOA by notifying CS, or suspended all their gigs, but don’t want to delete the accounts.

Anyone know?

It’s "Vacation Mode"

Sellers - if you head to “My Gigs” after you click “Sales” - you will see an option top right to put yourself in vacation mode.

I’ve used it for actual vacations (when I leave the country and my hotel internet connections isn’t worth a thing) or when I get 20 orders over the weekend and feel a little overwhelmed.

Vacation mode will automatically suspend all of your gigs for you for a prescribed period of time. But is limited to 28 annual days.

Reply to @madmoo: Also, it’s a new thing. I’ve been here around 3 years myself, and I think it just started a few months ago, because I used to have to suspend all of my gigs individually if I wanted to put them on hold for a bit.

But I was under the impression that you were able to use the CONTACT a seller button to be able to leave messages while that seller was on “Vacation”. In every case, and there have been many, when I have seen that message, not only is that button disabled but none of the seller’s Gigs are shown, instead they are replaced by suggestions to try some other seller’s Gigs.

Reply to @ricksper: Yes, this message is definitely not the same one that shows on someone’s profile when they’re on vacation. The link below to another post seems to make sense: it’s a message that shows on profiles of members who haven’t logged on to the site for some unspecified, long amount of time, but haven’t deleted or suspended their gigs, or notified CS that they want to delete or suspend their accounts, either. It’s to keep buyers from attempting to purchase gigs from inactive accounts.
