I have the option to promote gigs in my account, if I turn on the promotion option, are my gigs likely to lose rank? 

Before I got this gig promotion option my gig was in good rank but it lost rank after launching gig promotion option, and I heard in some places gig rank is lost after launching gig promotion option, I would like the advice of experienced freelancer brothers.

Not sure about promotion option, i do not see that optin anywhere in my gig btw
