These kind of Buyers

I got a message from a buyer this morning to help with a data set testing project. Response was given after some hours due to time differences. I was asleep when the message came.

After the whole conversation and Q&A of how competent I am for the project, buyer decided to hire someone else for the job.

I provided samples and sent videos of data set testing. I offered to show my portfolio website to go through my most recent works. I was so calm and had so much respect and all buyer could say was, I wasn't diligent enough, I was trying to sell her, I wasn't fast enough, blah blah blah... After I sent samples already. Who does that?

Is this really the way some buyers behave?

I wasn't happy about it at all and at the same time I felt the buyer stole from me.
